Hildigöltur (5051), København Ø, Denmark Mar 3, 2004 [Cask conditioned] Amber coloured. Sweet, malty aroma with notes of honey and caramel. The flavour is rather malty with a bitter, hoppy finish. chris_o (4405), London, Greater London, England Sep 23, 2003 A quaffing summer ale made at the excellent Harbour Bar at Kircaldy in Fife. Lightish brown in colour, but not as pale as some of this style. Very floral aroma - US hops. Again floral on the palate, but well-balanced by some bitterness. Finishes dry and crisp. A well made beer and very refreshing. An excellent more-ish pint. Cask, Great British Beer Festival, August 2003
JorisPPattyn (4262), Antwerpen, Belgium Aug 11, 2003 (Cask) Rusty-gold; thin white head, stable. Nose of hops and horse-feed pellets. Some coloured malts. malty, with a citrussy hops flavour (Cascade!). Underbuild by malt with a blood-iron taste. This might sound Dracula-like, but it's actually quite OK (hyaarggh). Mouthfeel is a bit thin, but saved by the malts. Better than run-of-the-mill.
