Very pale, but VERY hazy, I think this may be due to the fact that I’ve chilled it! The head is thin and patchy. Light fruity/hoppy nose, and pretty much the same on the palate, The finish is good, lasts well. Was looking forward to this, but the appearance lets it down. thewolf (5714), Kolding, Denmark Aug 1, 2009 Cask @ Guildford Arms, Edinburgh.
Pours clear, yellowish golden with a fine, small, frothy white head. Aroma has lots of hops, grass, citrusy, piney. Low, lightly prickly carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is piney, good bready malts, some grassy Amarillo character. Long, lightly bitter aftertaste. A well-brewed and very good Golden Ale. downender (2563), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Jul 5, 2009 Cask-conditioned at the Three Judges, Glasgow 29/06/09.
