Bottled. Clear deep golden, airy head. Distinct fruity nose hiding vegetables underneath. Sweet and rounded, boldly malty with medium body and light salty bitterness. Quite simple.

Bottle. Sweet smell of malt, caramel and a strange hint of cherries. Small frothy white head, fast and fully diminishing; red clear body. Moderate sweet taste, short duration. Light body, dry texture, soft carbonation.

Bottle, 5.0%. Fruity aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Small white head. Caramelly flavour, a little rough. Not that good, and not a Koelsch.

33 cL bottle, trade with Koelschtrinker Koelschtrinker. Pours clear and golden orange with a white head. Light spiced and hoppy bitter aroma. Flavour is metallic, and spiced. Ends light hoppy and dry.

dark brown-orange colour medium head nice balance full flavor, grain and some hops, less carbonation.

Bottle at home ...Crisp golden orange ... sweet fruit little hope nose ... Malty lagger very bitter ... little fruity. not balanced. quite poor.

Bottle. Clear, dark golden colour. Low carbonation. Slightly yellow head. Tastes lightly like a Kölsch but much too powerless. One might add that before about 2004, 1396 was a more powerful (6,0%) beer with a distinct taste which was rather good. This here isnt anymore.

Bottled. Thanx oh6gdx. Clear golden in colour, minor white head. The aroma is maize like with a skunkyness to it. The flavour is maize like and somewhat metallic.
