blipp (801), Grand Island, New York, USA May 10, 2008 Bottle Pours pale yellow with a white head. Malty aroma with grain, grass, and hops. Light citrus even. Medium body. Flavor is sweet clean malt, grain and a short and light hoppy finish. Not bad, your average, extremely drinkable kolsch.

I’ve had this on tap in Cologne, but that was decades ago.
Mild spiciness, on the sweet side. As with many beers of this style, it comes out a bit bland and not as refreshing as a German pilsener. Aroma is mildly sweet with grainy, grassy and a weird faint metallic smell. Flavor is grassy, grains, citrus and very light spice. Light bodied, thin texture.
