Jun 14, 2009 Rather pale coming out of the bottle, rocky white head. Aroma is grainy with a bit of hoppiness. Palate is grassy with a touch of the German hops, and buttery. Very much like our pale lager style.

Jun 6, 2009 500 ml bottle. The pour reveals a clear pale gold color with a thin white head. The aroma has a lots of cereal coming from the malt and mild hops. The flavor isn’t great, but at least decent, it’s mostly about cereal, but there’s also some mild hops. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. This is not a great kolsch, but at least, it’s refreshhing and interesting.

Jun 1, 2009 12oz bottle-Pours a clear golden with a nice white head. Aroma of spices, sour, and pale lagerish. Taste of the same with a little sweetness. This light bodied brew was OK but nothing outstanding.

May 31, 2009 Nice beer. I’ve only ever tasted one other Kolsch from Cologne, so I don’t have much actual experience to go on. Poured with a nice white head that mostly fades and no lace. Color is a bright yellow gold. Aroma is a slightly spicy, fruity, hoppy, and beery. Flavor’s about the same; slightly bittersweet. I do pick up a faint hint of metallic others have noted. Almost a soft body. Good clean finish. Excellent session beer.

May 28, 2009 500ml bottle from SAQ. Poured real clear and brilliant yellow. with a medium fluffy white head. Aroma is light skunk, quite malty and fresh. Bit metallic. Head retention is quite small. Small lacings. Aroma is not bad. Taste is quite discrete. Quite watery. A tiny hint of citrus. Mouthfeel is quite flat. Overall th beer is ok. really refreshing but nothing really special. I was told that this was not a good example of the Kolsh style so I hope one day I will have a nice one ! Rating #125

May 25, 2009 I tried quite a few Kolsch while in Cologne, however this was my least favorite. They all pour clean and clear, a very crisp style of beer. This one had a strange hint of something in the aftertaste. A bit metallic or a weird fruit? Not sure but didn’t enjoy it was much as the others.

May 24, 2009 bouteille de 500ml, acheté ŕ la SAQ, bičre blonde translucide, brillante. mousse blanche, belle bulle nez agréable frais, la bouche est malté, forte amertume, ressemble ŕ quelque ale blonde de méga-canadienne. agréable.

May 22, 2009 Bottle. Clear yellow with a thin foamy head with good retention and no lacing. Aroma is metallic with slightly sweet malt, herbal hops. Flavor is malt with some herbal hops. Pretty watered down. Thin to medium body with a watery mauthfeel and fizzy carbonation.
