Commercial Description:
The Full Nelson was designed and brewed by Brian Nelson, the Assistant Brewer and a bartender here at Galbraith’s Alehouse. Conceived out of a passion for good beer, esteem for our pub, and a conversation about wrestling, the Full Nelson took on a life it its own. Brown Ale is traditionally characterized by and celebrated for its malt sweetness and low level of bittering hops. The combination creates a smooth drinkable ale. The Full Nelson is an exceptional cask conditioned Brown Ale blending both caramal and toffee flavours with a delicate and gentle hop finish. The sweet aromatics and rounded malt character create a delightful ale to accompany the season’s change to autumn.

Pint pulled at the brew pub, a clear brown with a fine off-white head. A malty aroma, earthy with some juicy notes. A light malty palate. Caramal flavoured with a tangy finish. Suspect this cask might be a little past best, so will have to give it another go.
