Cask-conditioned at the Savoy, Swindon 29/10/09. Pale amber with a slight white head. Aroma of sweetish cereal malts, some fruit and a trace of spicy hop. Malty flavour, with some dusty hops and bitter finish. Ok.

Copper coloured with a slim off white head. Fairly straight forward stuff. Clean and drinkable. Slightly earthy on the malt, nicely citric and dry on the hops. Pretty decent.

Nov 9, 2009 JDW Rochester. Clean and fruity. Leen. Some sweetness and a vague bitterness at the end reminiscent of Czech lager, but also with a juicy pineapple note. Mildly interesting - would need to drink several times to discover how much I actually like this, as it is fairly subtle.

This came across as a typical British Bitter, crisp bitterness, nice bite, easy drinking, slightly dry at end, enjoyable and a good accompaniment to my large breakfast that I failed once again to complete. Nov 6, 2009 Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Amber to brown with white head. Nice little light, tasty bitter that pushes all the session ale buttons. Light on the palate with a fresh, slightly oily hop flavour, some citrus, lemony notes and a forgiving, malty, biscuity body. We all liked it.
