Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - April.
Also known as Frolic Bitter.
Thirst quenching ale full of fresh hops and warm maltiness, definitely a classic beer to be savored.

Cask at Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. orange beer with a light haze, and a small dense white head. Malty fruity aroma with a light bitterness. Malty sweet flavor with hints of toffee and some hoppy bitterness with a citric touch.

Hand pulled at the British Oak, Stirchley, Birmingham. Very similar in looks and falvouring to the Bristol IPA, which was also sampled in the same venue today. If anything, the flavours are even more muted and lacking than that other beer, which is worrying. Bland.

CASK: Pale amber color, low lathery head. Weak malt body with a broad hop bitter across the mouth. Quick profile and thin - almost watery. OK, but not so thrilling overall.

[Cask conditioned, sold as Frolic Bitter] Golden coloured. Nice hoppy and fruity aroma and flavour. Fresh with some bitterness in the finish. A really good Spring brew.

Cask, the Cockney pub, Aarhus. Golden-amber with beautiful creamy head. Fruity - apple, honey melon?, sweet, medium bitterness, creamy mouthfeel. Very nice.

Cask, The Bull's Head, Pratt's Bottom. Very much in the style of a Blond Ale. Apple very much to the fore. Cider and vanilla aroma. Mild sharpness in the finish.

Sampled cask conditioned at the Danish Beer Festival.
Dark golden. Intense flowery aroma. Strikingly sweet, malty and rounded and nothing butsugar in the finish.
