This is a very good Bitter. It is also hard to find. If you can locate on do get it, because it is worth trying at least one time! Also if you like Bitters as I do this will not dissapoint. Mine was in a can, and I am sure if it taste that good out of a can out of a bottle or tap would have been ten times better.

Nice orange color with a white head. Carmel fruity aroma. Fruity aroma with some hops too. Full flavored beer. The hops linger throughout the beer. Good.

0.5 l can. Nice orange with a whitish head. Carmel fruity aroma. Some hops too. Full flavored carmel hop palate. Hops linger. Lots of flavor for a light beer. Too bad Boddington’s isn’t this good.

Medium brown color, large head. Toasted malt flavor, nicely hopped. Good balance. Nice flavor, large body. Mouthfeel is full and round. Smooth taste, somewhat dry. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is malty and full, very slight bitterness.

Ruby brown. Fluffy and sustained head. Nice mild hops with more malt coming forth. Very satisfying.

It’s not retired, i had one today!!!! I’d planned to only drink a little of this....just to rate it and then dump the rest but this is GOOD! much better than i remember...guess we have fullers to thank for that! hmmm to flavours etc light toffee on the nose...really quite appetising, very clean fruity toffee notes and extremely drinkable.

Full bodied and a great amount of bitterness. Very hard to find. A very good English Bitter Ale.
