275ml bottle. Pours a syrupy red with fat, clear bubbles and a bunch of yeast that just floats on top. Looks horrible. Tart, sour, sweet aroma that is really not appetizing in any way. Taste is really, really bad red wine. Sour and cardboard and bad fruits. Another drain pour.

Bottle from Party Town, KY. Poured clear reddish brown with an average frothy white that diminished quickly with fair lacing. Heavy port and pruny aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium sweet malty flavor with a medium smooth bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where not met.

Murky brown, rapidly dimishing dishwater head, no real lacing or retention. Aroma is loads of port with notes of darker fruits and caramel. Felt fairly light bodied and had a somewhat velvety texture. Easy to drink, flavors have melded well, but not overly complex for its age.

9.3oz bottle that I can only assume is from 2000. Again I looked at the rating before I rated, so hopefully it won’t suffer. Pours a clear brown caramel with a minimal light beige head after agitation, a bit of dark floaties as well. Aroma of sour cherries, a bit of those ringed spiced apples, fairly sour. There is also some thick dark fruity syrup qualities, and a bit of port wine with some oxidation. The flavor starts with some strong acidic tang and quickly changes to very old fruits and vinegar. It has some wine characteristics, but not of a good wine. There is a bit of dirty moldy leather as well. A little like chewing on an old sour boot. Dry finish--the alcohol is noticeable then. Medium body, very little carbonation. This is kinda sucky--I have a feeling this is a bit past its prime.

Pours a deep copper color with very little carbonation evident. No head to retain, no lacing. Fruity and winey aroma with a dusty grainy scent in the background. Strong fruit flavors - tart cherry, tart raspberry, and medium dry red wine mostly, with a deep red wine tannin in the finish. Some dry malt in the finish as well. A warming alcohol presence kicks in even with the first sip. Medium bodied and flat (I guess its supposed to be, right?). An interesting beer to drink once every 1000 years. I’m good for a while.

Coffee colored brew with no head or apparent carbonation. Aroma is piquant and granny smithy Taste is sour and unpleasant with a biting vinegar finish . Alcohol is only part of the burn in this awful brew. $2/9.3oz

Rating #1000!
And glad I am that I didn’t have to resort to Harrison’s Millennium! Corked 275 ml bottle, poured into goblet. Close to a ten-year old beer, my oldest so far. Sweet wine and honey smell. Pours bubbly with a thin head and a sherry colored body. Most of the conditioning yeast stayed behind in the bottle, so mine is nicely clear. Smelling it in the glass, I pick up some of the cork. That carries through to a sort of corked red wine taste. A little sour, yes. Grape taste laced with alcohol rather than a fine wine. These impressions overwhelm any basic malt & hops notes. I liked the initial impression, but it does run too far off what I think was intended by the brewers. Or maybe this is what we should expect from a ten-year old corked ale. Still interesting, and a nice choice for my ascension to beer godhood (cue trumptes).
Thanks to kramer17801 for sending this in trade last year!

Brown with a little froth...but not head. Very tart apple cider aroma. Sharp sour dark fruit aroma; more like dark fruit that’s been sitting out for too long. I’m sorry...but I read someone’s quote below about how it has a "great sour/acidic quality"....while everyone is indeed entitled to their opinion on this site, I just don’t get it with this brew. I’d rather drink a bud light than this.
