275ml bottle. From Shropshire - vintage 1991. This is either a milk stout or a bottled mild with some sugar. A light, mildly sweet dark ale with caramel notes. Some cardboard notes from the aging. I suspect, given the name, and the taste, that this is sweetened with lactose so qualifies as a Milk Stout. It’s drinkable, with faint suggestions of camp coffee, but it aint great.
