Very typical british ale. Floral aroma but a flat taste that screws everything. Some sweetness comes along.

[2529-20091013] Tap. Bit grainy generic bread aroma. Clear, red amber body with a quick foamy white head. Some grainy tree bark bitter hops flavour. Medium body is bitter. In good shape, average.

2009-10-13. Crisp dark amber body with a tiny beige head. Aroma of fruity cardboard, light touch of cooked vegetables. Flavour is similar, mild fruity malt base, touch of astringent notes, brief toasty malt. Average palate is a touch flat. Not sure if its the beer or me today but I did not care for this one much. On tap at Volo, Toronto

tap at Bar Volo, this poured an understated carbonation and a light orange colour, with little but pleasant white head. Neutral aroma, and a tad below average mouthfeel. Rather understated bitterness, drinkable nevertheless.
