Aug 8, 2003 The aroma is slightly hopy. The color is golden and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor starts out bitter, turning sweet in the middle, to give way to the bitterness again. A very drinkable summer beer, but nothing special.

May 25, 2004 Cask conitioned at a Wetherspoons. Light golden beer woth thin head. Light dainty thinnish beer with a sweet gentle malt. Gets to be a little crystal bitter in the finish.

Aug 2, 2004 Another gold lager coloured summer quaffer, much like the Downton Chimera Wheat I had immediately before. This one had a bit more sweet malt and a soft mouthfeel, but still managed to be refreshing. Not much in the way of aroma. Cask (handpump), Crosse Keys (JDW), City of London.
