Smells tarte and sweet with some citrussy touches. Tastes of sweet caramel, molasses, some dark fruit, boozy on the finish. HenrikSoegaard (4394), Randers, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Bottled. A hazy amber beer with small particles of sediment floating around under a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit as well as light notes of wood and oxidation - due to 2½ years of storing. The flavor is very sweet and very fruity combined with medium notes of prunes, and again a slight oxidized note and notes of alcohol, which is felt on the tongue. Thanks BelJohansen for sharing this. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 1, 2008 courtesy of fiulijn - cloudy and unappetizing reddish-copper colour, absolutely no foam; woody, strong aroma of licorice, plum, caramel and marzipan; low carbonation and full-bodied; the finish is slightly elusive leaving notes of caramel and wood ... and a solid alcohol kick
