It has a great balance between the sweetness and the bitterness. It’s a very nice hops that has been used for this beer. It is pretty light - a little watery - I think mine was 4.2% abv. omhper (12229), Stockholm, Sweden

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 17, 2007 Bottle at KØ07. Very sweet, oxidized prune aroma. Clear red/brown colour. No head. The flavour starts off citric, turns sweet and then dried fruity. Very vinous and oxidized, with some alcohol notes. Very long raisin aftertaste. I just do not like old beer. fiulijn (7170), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 29, 2004 Dark amber color. Very strange, flat; sherry with malt. Disappointing. Probably I got a bad bottle (which I hopefully stored for at least 5 years). Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2004 It pours with no head, a muddy dark brown with ruby hints, earthy in appearance. Aroma reveals its advanced age with balsamic vinegar notes. It’s extremely vinous, rather sweet and apparently rather acid. In mouth, this gets confirmed where the taste is not particularly pleasant with sweet flavors of licorice, rhubarb, vinegar, old plums. Mouthfeel is still.Finish is rich, sweet and slightly chalky/astringent. This may be a little too old and this cork uually doesn’t forgive. duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 31, 2003 Odd "aged" feel to it. Sour, vingary, tart. Bruised apples, caramel/toffee, slightly syruppy and sticky at times, but with quite a big tart, dry character aswell. Odd traces of salted licorice or something aswell. Lots happening, but i'm not really sure the complexities blend together all that well. Interesting anyway. Bov (5455), Bienne, Switzerland
