Pale yellow ale. It has an aroma derived from corn. Taste is great. The better of Central American beers. It’s the best in Guatemala, although Dorada is right up there as well. Recommend to anyone, because I will have again and again!

Granted, the beer in Guatemala is pretty bad as a rule, so to say it is the best of the bunch, may be a bit of an understatement. However this is a charming and very refreshing beer. It is a bit like a Budweiser yet not lacking the malty flavor that beer should have. Really it is similar of Pilsner Urkel or Butvar of the Czech Republic. It is standard good solid beer

A surprisngly good beer, despite being a lager. Amongst other things that lager beers are usually lacking, this beer has color, head, lacing, and flavor. Pours golden yelow with a 1.5 inch head that lasts a long time. Exhibits good bubbling. Sweet malt aroma. Very full flavored, like medium-bitter hops. Full-bodied mouthfeel. Superb lacing. This beer halds its carbonation without being over-carbonated. Good from start to finish. Goes great with meatloaf. Should be enjoyed by college kids on a campus near you.

Nice sized white head and yellow color. Well, for what it is, it's not too bad. A bit sweet, Red Strip-ish. with a malty finish.
