Commercial Description:
Dvojrmutový varný postup, typický pro Gambrinus i většinu piv plzeňského typu, naši sládci obohatili o podíl karamelového sladu a především o unikátní dávkování chmele. Spočívá v přidání třetí dávky chmele až po ukončení chmelovaru, na samém konci varného procesu. To přináší plnější chuť spolu s intenzivnější chmelovou vůní.

Bottle. Toffee malt aroma with a hint of hops. Golden yellow color with minimal head. Strong slightly sweet toffee malt and moderate grass/hay flavor. I really love the malt flavor of this beer - very nice.

At first blink: the strong aroma fells me: beautiful hoppyness. This beer captivates me totally with its oily texture and sweet malty flavour. Besides: ’ medium to full’ body, a golden coloured with fizzy fast-diminishing head. Nice bitter and long aftertaste (and not dry). Delicious one! I drink it several time (always can type), and always was as good as i taste first, so it wasn’t an irregular case, so i don’t understand you, it’s an excellent pilsner, so it becomes one of my favourite! I recommend everyone: taste it!!!

Bottle from the Albert hypermarket at Chodov, drunk at the hotel. Poured a slightly darker gold body with a relatively fast disappearing white head. Weak grainy sweetish nose. Some herbal notes in the taste, hop? Hardly any true bitterness. Some malt, slightly eggy. All too ordinary. Meh.

Bottle (purchased at Tesco’s Tetschen-Bodenbach):Deep golden, small, but quite persistent white head; light pale-malty nose with an even fainter peppery hoppy touch and a tinge of butter; mild sweet-bitter flavour, subtle malty base detectable, light bodied; slightly lingering buttery and sweet-bitter finish. So far the best Gambač and compared to the 10° and 12° a real gem..............

0,5 l bottle as a gift from Prague. Average appearance with a pale yellow body and a small froathy white head. Some malt, sourish yeast and grassy hop in the nose and flavor, too. Easy drinkable mass producted, average beer to city sightseeing in the capital of the Czech Republic.
