On tap, Prague. Clear golden with generally a huge frothy white head. Little aroma and somewhat watery flavor, but not offensive. Not much bite, but unbalanced towards hops over fruit. If you’re in the Czech Republic, a decent cheap beer, blowing US brands out of the water, but not worth import price tags in other countries.

Bottle. Is this Coors? Well it is better than Coors overall. Picked this up in Decin, Czech. Very dissappointed. Very light pils with not much substance. Like a watered down Budvar.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a big steady white foam. Strong grainy malty nose with a tinge of hops. Slightly sweet malty flavour. Initially malty taste turning into a crispy hopbitter finish. A mild Pilsener, easy going.

[on tap in Czech Republic] Clear, golden brown with a thick, fuzzy head with a shaving cream peak that formed nice lacing. High noble hops aroma with a little sweet malt--not to strong. Pleasant, crisp malt flavour well balanced with fresh noble hops. Nice clean and watery aftertaste. Light body with moderate carbonation. Average Czech lager.

(Bottle 50 cl) Fully golden with a rather tall and stable head. Malty and well-balanced with the hops - although less hoppy than the brother-brew Urquell.

Bottle: dark yellow, almost amber coloured, big fluffy, lasting off-white head; fruity nose with some hints of herbal hoppiness and a sourish tinge; beginning sweet-malty, quickly switching to a dry, slightly bitter finish with some metallic tinge; kind of unharmonic, tart, not very aromatic. Poor: this is the best selling Lager in the czech republic, shame on SAB !

A full-flavored Czech that’s not overhopped like Pilsner Urquell and Budvar/Czechvar. Wish it had better distribution in the US. A solid performer.

(Bottled) Deep golden color with a medium, foamy head with some lace. Malty and buttery aroma with some hops and metal. Acidic, sweetish-malty aroma with aromatic hopping. Smooth, sweet and malty finish. Medium-bodied palate with balanced carbonation. An enjoyable, easily drinkable, well-balanced Czech pilsener with enough body.
