Much better than the regular svelte - darker color (slightly). Less dry also, which is a big plus. All in all, though, gambrinus is weak for czech beers.

Compact and creamy foam, optimal duration. Limpid and clear, discreetly bubbly color. Discreet aspect. Little decided scent and light. Fresh taste, good bitter but lightly watery. Fading finish.

Golden color with a white head. The taste is sweet and malty with a balanced body and light bitter finish.

Copper brown, small off-white head, lace. Menthol hoppy nose. Crunchy, hopped pilsener with oily sweetish aftertaste. Very pleasant after drinking over 20 different low quality Latvian and Estonian bulk lagers :)

Restaurant Wojarski, Göteborg. Light malt aroma, bit of caramel. Nice rounded hops, flowery and dull. Medium clear amber with thin off-white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with medium malt sweetness and fruity. Medium bitterness that gets more bitter at the end. Bitter after with mild sweet notes. Accompanied my pierogies quite well, though.

On tap at Soldaten Svejk, Stockholm. Pours a deep golden body topped with a thick foamy head. Aroma is well-balanced: it is mainly hoppy with some herbal notes. Its hoppy taste carries some flowery and bready notes that makes it very pleasant. Decent hoppy aftertaste. Another more than drinkable Czech Pilsner.

Golden colour. Strange smell, a bit fruity. But you don’t taste any fruit. Very light taste, a watery pilsener. No aftertaste. Too much water.

Dark golden colour. Sweetish malty, slightly hoppy nose. Sweet, malty flavour with a floral hoppiness in the finish. Very decent Bohemian Pilsner.
