High white head, disappears fast, very little lace. Colour is yellow. Taste is like a classic pilsner of the better quality. Malty aftertaste. Good quality, but not exceptional.

Aroma is of hops and a little sweetish. Clear, golden coloured with a short white head. Taste is floral, hoppy, sweet and bitter. More bitterness towards the finish. Watery texture. Smooth and fresh palate.

Botted:
Golden color, frothy head without much lace. Hops in aroma and flavour. Malty, maybe some diacetyl and alcohol notes. Hop bitter, alcoholic and a little bit unpleasant aftertaste. All in all a quite average bohemian pilsner.

Had at The Cellar, St. Andrews. For a pilsner it could be worse...had some grain’age...not huge on taste...

Draft, St. Petersburg. A bit more substance after all the Russian lagers I’ve been swilling. Good fluffy head that leaves a little lace. Golden pilsener color. A bit of extra sweetness, but the European hop profile makes a valiant effort to balance it. Still, a great pilsner beer smell I could pick up from two feet away, in an outdoor beergarden, made a good first impression on me.

From bottle. Big white foamy head. Lots of malt and sweetness in the aroma with a long malty caramel taste which gives way to a sharp bitterness at the back of your mouth. Extremely smooth and goes down a treat. A great Pilsner!
