Deep golden color. Butter and hops in aroma and flavor. Malty, medium to full bodied. Werthers Echte flavor (butter, cream and caramel sweet). Diacetyl probably. Hopbitter aftertaste.

Draught in a grubby pub near Mustek, Prague. Wonderfully light, crisp and fulfilling. Nice head and lacing - standard Pils colour. There are some restrained sweet notes and a long finish which is chilli pepper dry at the very end. Great stuff.

Bottled, Pasteurised at The Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Pale yellow with foamy head. Light crisp full lagerbeer, good level of dryness making it a good refreshing beer. One of the better Pilsener's I have had so far.

Clear golden colour with a big head. Soft hoppy aroma. Taste is also hoppy with a bit of spices. Palate is a bit thin, but all in all a nice beer.

I love how this beer is smooth. No effort at all to drink this beer and it's a very good pilsener as well

The aroma is sweet malty with slight bitter notes. The color is golden and it has a fine head. The flavor is sweet malty with light bitter notes. I had Gambrinus years back - and remember it much better than this. an average slightly bitter lager.

I have very high expectations whenever I try a Czech, but this one is a failure. Wet cardboard has nothing to do with beer, or has it?

Transparent gold with an extremely bubbly head. . . Loads of sticky lace. Light hop flavour with a good amount of honey and pine. Palate is thin, though thirst quenching on a very hot Prague day. A smooth bitter finish left me satisfied with this fresh sample.
