The best when in Prague in a small "old-fashioned" "rural" pub. Great!

Really good beer, so close in quality to Pilsner Urquell it is mostly question of momentary mood and situation which one to prefere. One of the best choices there are.

500ml bottle from Peckhams. A superb golden colour & a big white fluffy head, good lace too! Great lookin’ lager. Sweet malty nose, hint of citrus fruit. Medium bodied, well balanced. Sweet malt and fruity hops, clean and refreshing. I tried this years ago and enjoyed it then, it seemed to disappear from the marketplace and became impossible to get hold of. I REALLY enjoyed this bottle, a great Czech lager.

Very nice golden brown colour and nice thick head make this one of the best in the nation. Nice distinctive hoppy aftertaste with a bit more fizz than most czech beers, but not too much.

A must try for those who didn't have the pleasure yet of putting it in their bellies. Lively carbonation, goes down very easy. Large forthy white head, excellent head retention. Long hopbitter finish. Good lacing. Best on tap. March 2003 update: not as good as it used to be, watery. Still a very good pilsener.

This another noteworthy creation by the Czechs. A beautiful well formed head with a deep colour. This beer has a well balanced flavor to it although somewhat neutral in comparison to some of the other Czech pilseners. Gambrinus is also a little lighter on the body which makes it a really refreshing summer time experience in Prague. Thumbs up.
