Boring and watery mass-produced europivo, unfortunately to be found nearly everywhere in the Czech Republic. alenasek (2), Czech Republic does not count | 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 6/20 | May 20, 2007 On tap wherever you go in the Czech Republic. I have had tapped and bottled many times, usually unwillingly because it often is the only choice in bars. The sort of "eurobeer" with awkward flavor. Huge advertising made it the favoured 10 degree in the country among the local beer public. Hope the Czechs won’t be buying this for much longer. Theis (3760), Denmark

Not an excellent beer, but satisfactory as a regular drink. Appears watery, but has a moderate taste. A little more bitter than Plzen’s other offerings. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada

Compared to Canadian Lagers this is outstanding compared to other Czech lagers ordinary. Page 181 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 399 out of 500 Classic Brews to go. We were lucky to have a locals bar in the Hotel we were staying at, it gave a good feel to our trip that we were not in Tourist land, although the Girls found it very smokey. The Gambrinua was very thin and gassy with a slight malty base and a lemony acidic note. Eurofizz indeed. pivnizub (5051), Bochum, Porúří, Germany

A drinkable thirst-quencher, made for the hot bohemian deserts.......
