MiP (6019), Flensburg, Germany May 11, 2008 Bottle, 5.0%. Pale golden colour. Very small white head. The flavour starts off a little yeast, but that is quickly gone. Then follows a distinct bitterness, slightly astringent. There is a hint of fruit, but a very clean flavour. pivnizub (3871), Porúří, Germany Nov 12, 2007 Bottle (bought at the brewery): Hazy, pale golden, mid-sized, slowly collapsing white head, grainy-dusty nose with traces of a grassy bitterness in the second row; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; aromatic hops detectable in the moderate sweet-bitter finish. Grassy and slightly herbal hops aroma with a soft malty background and notes of horseblanket. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Quite hops accented grassy and herbal taste on a soft malty base, dry and herbal hoppy finish with a hop bitter aftertaste. Good but not perfectly balanced.
