Commercial Description:
This is a Belgian style of beer known as Witbier, literally “White Beer”. It is made using a Belgian yeast which can produce some refreshing fruit flavors. The use of wheat results in a high protein content which adds to haze and so gives the beer a cloudy appearance, hence the “White” of Witbier. Witbier is traditionally made from a combination of Barley malt and Wheat malt. Ours has added some Oat malt, approximately 15%, to round out the finish. This style also is typically mildly spiced and our version has Bitter Orange Peel and Coriander. It is refreshing, smooth and has the light touch perfect for warm weather drinking.

Nice orange blossom aroma. Flavor is a bit bland, like a table water cracker in liquid form. Finish is bitter orange peel.
