Commercial Description:
Loaded with English Hops and using a traditional English IPA recipe, this beer will happily lift your face as your palate explores its bitter, yet smooth effect. Facelift’s up front bitterness gives way to a mellow depth of flavor that will have you requesting another pint.

7th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Fruity smooth IPA. Not overly bitter. A little malt. Very drinkable.

on tap @ GIBF, nice IPA, one of the last beer I had, so judgement might be little hazy, but very nice pine/citrus flavor, not overbearing.

Veyr good too. Had it at GBBF 2009 and it was a very pleasant IPA not so bitter and very enjoyable after a while.

On tap at brewpub. Not one of the better IPAs I have had but still an IPA and for that it is still OK in my book. Pours cloudy golden. Tastes a bit watery and not hoppy enough.

My Bottom Line:
Toasted, biscuity malts and leafy hop resins join for a healthy and bubbly English-style IPA.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A creamy veil of foam dissipates into the cloudy golden.
-Like their Pale Ale, this could be a lot more aromatic to announce the hop flavors to come.
-Mild orange fruitiness and flowers come from the hops.
-The flavor profile is balanced, but also forgettable.

On tap at the brewpub.

Draft at ACBF09. Pours a cloudy dirty orange. Flavor of light hop oils but overall indistinct. Flavor of bland malt and hops. Watery palate. Not bad but basically just a bland IPA. 7/4/7/3/13 (3.4/5)
