Commercial Description:
Loaded with English Hops and using a traditional English IPA recipe, this beer will happily lift your face as your palate explores its bitter, yet smooth effect. Facelift’s up front bitterness gives way to a mellow depth of flavor that will have you requesting another pint.

Cask at GBBF08. Caramelly aroma. Almost clear amber colour. The flavour starts with a good clean bitterness. Turns more caramelly and then finishes with a cleansing bitterness.

Draught. Medium high fluffy off-white lasting head. Clear amber body. Lovely fruity caramel aroma. Astonishingly mildly hopped. The fruityness of the beer comes through in a pleasant way. Low carbonation. Long bitter aftertaste.

Pours a slightly hazy copper color with a thin white head and almost no lacing. A nice bitter taste upfront with a smooth malty but still bitter finish. Good brew.

(Draught) Pours a lightly hazy amber body with a small white head. Aroma of herbs, floral, toasted bread, and citrus. Flavor of mild hops (herbal, floral, grassy) with a bitter finish.

Cask at GBBF 2007. A hazy copper colored beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops and grass. The flavor is sweet and very grassy, but also with notes of grapefruit, leaiding to a very bitter finish. Nice.
