| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 12, 2009 My Bottom Line:
Lenient caramel malt flavors benefit from subtle toasty undercurrents in this very drinkable but somewhat lackadaisical Oktoberfest.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the hazy deep amber.
-The mouthfeel is lean and the malts don’t offer much depth or crunch.
-An orangey fruitiness lingers. From the discreet hops perhaps?
-The finish is forgettable, not offering much in the way of hop bitterness, for example.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 13, 2009 A: Average-sized, off-white head that diminished to a thin film after a couple of minutes. Not really any lacing from this beer. Body is a dark amber color, and slightly hazy.
S: Not a bad aroma - average amount of malt with some hints of caramel. Not as powerful-smelling as I would have expected from an Oktoberfest.
T: Flavor is moderately sweet, with the caramel-maltiness coming through quite well. Not a lot of punch to it, but still quite nice. Short-lasting overall.
M: Medium-bodied and slick, with average carbonation. Very smooth.
D: Extremely easy to drink, but I prefer an Oktoberfest to have a little more character. Still, a very decent entry. swiseman (208), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 21, 2009 A red copper dunkel with a thin light moka head. A light nutty malt with light cinnamon notes. In mouth, a light crips malt with mineral notes, light bodied and watery, a bit of lactic notes. On tap at brewery, Oct. 11 2009. Gethinbeer (1003), Nova Scotia, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Bottle. Great amber colour with a thin white lace which clings to the glass. Malt aroma with slight caramel notes. Toffee flavour makes it smooth yet the beer has a crisp bitterness to finish. Seems well made and an enjoyable ale but not sure if its spot on its category. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 5, 2009 A fun little beer. Personally, I think it was brewed for kicks and enough people that tried it figured it would sell. Very amateur but great tasting nonetheless.
