Tmoney99 (3636), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jun 30, 2007 Draft sample at Gaslight. Poured clear amber color with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus hoppy aroma. Medium body. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 2, 2006 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was fully diminished and left behind a transparent uncarbonated orange brown colored body and a good lacing. The strong aroma was hoppy and farmhouse. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish hoppy aftertaste. The soft flavor contained notes of hops on a malty base. Dickinsonbeer (2550), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Sep 15, 2006 Not a huge fan of this one. Pours a deep amber with a thin white head. Aroma is more malty than hoppy- sharp caramel malt dominates. Flavor is also dominated by a sharp stinging dark crystal malts and a wierd prickliness in the end with some hop bitterness. Needs way more hops. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 10, 2006 on tap-pours a light tan head with copper color. Aroma is sweet-toffee, rock candy, medium malt. Taste is sweet-toffee, rock candy, medium malt, vanilla, dark fruit. OK carbonation. Complex and not the standard IPA. Hops??? Sipping. argo0 (6230), Washington DC, USA Aug 6, 2006 Off-white head with clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, bourbon, banana. Taste is medium sweet, bourbon, banana, some dryness in the finish. Medium body with low carbonation. Possibly the strangest "IPA" I have ever tasted. Not bad, just completely against expectations.
