Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jun 2, 2008 Nitro at the brewpub. Pours a watery black body with a tan head, with little retention. Aroma chocolate malt, caramel malt, and roasted chocolate. This one just seemed watered down to me. yobdoog (367), Woodridge, New York, USA Jan 16, 2008 Light body, watery, some coffee. Not bad at first, easy drinking and smooth. Simple. thedm (3406), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 2, 2006 This bottled brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a semi-opaque no visible carbonation dark red brown colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty like on nitro and contained brown malt notes. The smooth flat lack luster flavor contained notes of dark malt and a dry finish. Very unidimensional and not one that I would likely drink again. Dickinsonbeer (2513), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Sep 15, 2006 This was an ok nitro stout. Had a pint at the bar. Aroma and flavor were both skewed toward the caramel sweet side and less on the roasty dry coffee side. Body and mouthfeel were standard to the nitro pour, so no complaints there. Finish is relatively smooht. Enjoyable but I wanted some roastiness and chocolate in there. jcwattsrugger (3862), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Sep 10, 2006 on tap-pours a creamy brown head with black color. Aroma is licorice, chocolate. Taste is licorice, chocolate, coffee, malt. Minimum carbonation. Thin.
