Taste is licorice, chocolate, coffee, malt. Minimum carbonation. Thin. thedm (3407), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 2, 2006 This bottled brew from the brewery poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a semi-opaque no visible carbonation dark red brown colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was malty like on nitro and contained brown malt notes. The smooth flat lack luster flavor contained notes of dark malt and a dry finish. Very unidimensional and not one that I would likely drink again. Dickinsonbeer (2554), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Sep 15, 2006 This was an ok nitro stout. Had a pint at the bar. Aroma and flavor were both skewed toward the caramel sweet side and less on the roasty dry coffee side. Body and mouthfeel were standard to the nitro pour, so no complaints there. Finish is relatively smooht. Enjoyable but I wanted some roastiness and chocolate in there. mkobes (2045), paramus, New Jersey, USA Apr 10, 2004 Nice stout. Its right for the style. Dark brown in color with a tan head. Nice and roasty. It was the best beer I had there. Chocolatety aroma. Its a dry stout. Very dry. Good stout.
