Commercial Description:
This is the Solstice Ale, but brewed in the winter. A Cream Ale is an adaptation of the American light lager style, chiefly involving fermentation of the beer as an ale followed by a period of cold conditioning. Flaked corn and corn sugar is added as a grain adjuncts to keep the beer light-bodied & colored as well as adding a smooth crispness. Pale straw in color with a Low hop bittering and some hop aroma. This beer is made with German Pilsner, Flaked corn & corn sugar and German Magnum & American Santiam hops.

2.8.07 AdamSkillin, in his infinite succor, proclaimed this a belgian wheat(?). I guess not. A fair enough brew but some of thos Gaslight taps are crazy infested sometimes. Weird aftertastes. Clean those lines

on tap-pours a thin creamy white head and slightly hazy yellow color. Aroma is smooth, slightly sweet grain, aroma finishes with a zip (hops, vinegar?). Taste is smooth, slightly sweet grain, finishes with a zip, now seems like vinegar. OK carbonation. 3.1
