330 ml bottle. Medium to dark bown with lots of red and lots of floaties. A slight lacy head. Tangy, sour aroma of green apples, cherry, dust, a bit of barnyard and chocolate. Sweet-and-sour flavor of chocolate, caramel, cherries, green apples, and dusty mold form an old oak barrel. Dry finish with sour tang. Smooth body, not very heavy. Something like a very strong Flanders red, but I can’t help thinking it is also infected. Decent stuff, though not exactly right on. Alcohol completely hidden.

(33cl bottle, BB Sept 2012) Pours a cloudy brown body with a small beige head. Light aroma of brandy, cherry, dust, yeast, and raisin. Flavor of light sourness, yeast, stale crackers, and somewhat syrupy with a dry finish. Alcohol covered up fairly well for 12% abv.

Bottle. Pours with a almost copper red colour with a medium, white creamy head. Aroma has notes of yeast, malt, some spice, fruit and a light sourness. The flavour has a light sourness, with notes of yeast, grapefruit, spice, malt and fruit. Wery well hidden alchol, dispite the 12%. In spite of the fact that i don’t like sour ale that much, this was really a good experience. The hidden sourness makes it wery drinkable. Nice

A 0.33L bottle tasted at One Pint Pub. Mild nose. Slightly hazy pale brown coppery colour. Slightly sour and sweet roasted taste. Some bitterness at the end.

330ml bottle (One Pint, Helsinki, Belgian Weeks 2009) - shared with various - thanks!
Slightly gluey but sour aroma. Rich brown, tiny beige ring head. Simple rich roast malt body, but interesting sour corner details. A little sweet. Carbonation is soft. Finish is mostly simple malts, dark and tasty. Covers 12% brilliantly. Nice hoppy finish, fruity and green buds.

It is copper-red with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of yeast, spice, malt, fruit and a light sourness. The flavour has sweetness and a light sourness, notes of yeast, grapefruit, spice, malt and fruit. It is somewhat yeasty sharp in the beginning, but it grows more mellow and rather sweet in the finish.

Bottle at the brewery. Attractive reddy amber, brown. Thin off white head. Bit of alcohol sweetness on aroma, bit syrupy and sickly brown beer.

A Mes rate. Bottle at the brewery. Cloudy dark amber with a huge fizzy white head. The bottle spumed all over the table when opened. Faintly sour and full of minerals and plenty of alcohol showing. Big bready yeasty notes with some dried fruit and some sweet alcohol notes. More mineral, almost infected type notes in the finish. So so.
