Bottle (labeled "Singing blonde"). Pours a cloudy light golden color with a small white head. Aroma of sweet fruits, peppery spices, and yeast. Flavor is bready/yeasty upfront with spices and a sweet finish. Pretty good BSA, very enjoyable. 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)

bottle, pours hazy dirty blond with a tall frothy white head. Aroma of pears and a floral hop note. Sour apple and malt body with a light pepper and hop finish. Not at all bad.....I prefer the original blond.

(Bottle at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, on 2009-05-16) Golden and almost clear. Small white head. Grass and fruitiness in aroma. Medium bodied and dryish palate with medium carbonation. Sweetness, fruitiness, honey and light bitterness in taste. Sweet aftertaste.

(Bottled) Clear golden (opaque with yeast) with a small head. Honey-grainy-cerealy-malty aroma. Pear-fruity flavor with honey sweetness, orange-peel, and hints of alcohol. Medium-bodied, sticky palate with low carbonation. A somewhat simple and sweet Belgian Strong - almost cloying, but still tolerable.

Bottled (One Pint Pub, BB 11/2012). Hazy orange color, small white head. A bit tart lemony aroma, some watermelon. Medium to full bodied. Quite sweet, liquerish beer. Mango, watermelon, some alcohol but less than 9.8% indicates. Kind of one-dimensional - looks like tripel, but lacks the bitterness.

33cl bottle at home: Hazy gold brew with small particles. A tall yellowed head fades to a creamy film. Sweet aroma of Orange blossoms, citrus peel, and mixed summer fruits. There is a sugary malt quality with some light toast in the distance. Some spices, like cardamom. Lightly tart character that is faintly lactic hangs out in the back. Flavor is initially pale malt before a wave of sweet and tart fruits push in. Definite tartness hanging out under some sugar. Strength makes itself known with sweet alcohols running through the summer fruit jam and lemon zest. A little slick. Touch of light caramel drizzled around the outside. sprinkled with a pinch of cardamom. Light tannic notes add some hint of bitterness in the back of the throat. Medium-long citrussy grain finish with some dark dried spices. A bit much going on in both aroma and flavor.
