| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 14, 2007 pale golden color, with a very one dimensional aroma - just hops. The head was huge in the glass and lingered almost until the last swig. The taste was a bit thin, but it did wash done clean with a very little aftertaste. All in all, the best I can say is that it is a very average drinkable beer. At worst, I can say it is ’very French’. C’est la vie. drpimento (828), La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA

Very slightly hazy amber. Mouth filling good body. Lots of malt. Long finish. Good beer. Had this at Bodega Brew Pub downtown La Crosse, WI. fonefan (11565), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2007 Mmmm big yeast aroma and a slight funky bitter flavor. My bottle says it’s a French Red Ale and red it is. The color is a deep red almost brown. The head is big, off white, and slow to dissipate. First impression is a crisp, clean, sour drink. The pungent experience stays with you for a while. The malt balances it out a bit and increases as the beer warms. There are some red fruits in there as well. I would say a pure taste beer. No food, no exageration, just degustation. I really liked that one. Fall beer (as in the season not the action lol)

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 31, 2007 its quite good. The Alcohol actually hits you hard at first, caramel and slight cereal makes this good. the malts is nice and hops are little in presence. The rest of the beer is a pleasant expirence. nick76 (2657), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 31, 2007 The aroma is very grainy with hops, spice, and fruity yeast. The appearance is amber with a HUGE head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s a nice beer but not one that you should go out of your way to get. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 29, 2007 Pours a dark reddish brown with thin off-white head that lingered thru mid-glass and left okay lacing. Nose was a pleasant, though subdued, malty dark fruit, mixed with carmel. Mouthfeel was sweet and slightly tingly, and the flavor followed the nose.
Initial palate was stale and metallic, but this improved dramatically as the beer warmed. If I have this again, I’ll make sure to let it warm before drinking. An interesting beer.
