Dec 13, 2006 Aroma is yeasty very yeasty, earthy malts, fruity at times with some grassy flowral hop character. Taste is similar carbonation is heavy but fine so easily drinkable, alround an excellent beer.

Dec 4, 2006 Pours a dark copper with a slight tan head. The aroma is slightly fruity with some caramel and roastedness along with a bit of funkiness. the flavor has a bit of chocolate, fruit, roasted malt, and an earthiness.

Dec 2, 2006 Botttle from Greens in Atlanta Again,nice store. Some weird fruit notes here almost like a English Ale,that funky fruity caramel thing with a bit of earthiness.Still doesn’t mean I liked it tho’

Nov 26, 2006 11.2 ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s in Albany, NY. Shared with my brother, ChazyRPH. Roasty, grainy, lightly vinous aroma. There are some light chocolate notes present as well. This is an interesting, but pleasant aroma that I am having some difficulty putting a finger on. Mildly hazy orangey-amber colored body with a nice frothy, tan head. Sweet, sugary malts to start, which turns more roasted in the middle. Becomes chewy, caramelly with some late vinousness present in the end. Similar to a quad. Tasty and enjoyable. A baby quad. This becomes drier as it goes on and becomes a little less drinkable.

Nov 25, 2006 Bottle. This is one of the oddest beers I’ve ever drank. While drinking this I started to really hate it and it became a major letdown. I decided it wasn’t going to be a drainpour and soon it really changed it’s flavor on me like that. I guess about 20 minutes of warming could really make that much a difference for a beer. Aging could do this wonders.

Nov 24, 2006 Savannah, Ga. - Habersham Beverage Warehouse - 11.2 oz bottle. Dark copper pour, very fluffy white head. Fresh caramelly, nutty aroma with hints of mint . Chewy flavor with some caramel notes, nuttiness, and subtle fruitness. Thickish mouthfeel for the style. Very good.

Nov 23, 2006 33cL bottle. Golden amber color with nice, lasting head. The aroma is incredible with pear and strawberry and a touch of sweetness. The flavor is crisp and the yeast provides a very fresh and dry sensation. There is a slight bitterness in the aftertaste that is an interesting balance to the profile. Similar to a Belgian blonde ale. Great beer.

Nov 22, 2006 From the bottle pours copper with a overwhelmingly fizzy head, kinda hard to pour. Kinda funky yeast flavor shows well, giving the finish a acidic and lightly sour flavor with some yeast spice. Fruity up front, citrus and caramel with earthy tones. Finish dries it out nicely and the mild sourness keeps it refreshing.
