Jul 24, 2006 An unclear dark amber beer with an OK beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of both caramel and yeast. The flavor is sweet matly with primary notes of caramel, but also light notes of dust, hops, and citrus - I guess it all stems from the hops. I find it good for being Frensh.

Sep 2, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a cloudy, warm, dark, orangey golden with a tall, dense and lasting off-white head leaving quite some lacework. Lightly fusty aroma. Quite a full body, sweetish caramel, notes of wood and apple/calvados, sherry and earth. Very complex and very lovely. 180807

Jun 11, 2006 Hazy amber colour. Yeasty aroma with firm malts, light spiciness. Hazy yeastiness, light maltiness. Not bad, but rather nondescript and overly yeasty.
