Sep 8, 2007 Bottle from Intermarche, Nr Boulogne, France. Going against the grain, I really enjoyed this. Copper gold with a white head. Malty aroma with some yeast. Sweet malty taste, plenty of alcohol, a long bitter finish. Uncomplicated. Delicious.

Aug 20, 2007 Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Clear light to medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, heavy sugar and alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is moderate to heavy alcoholic.

Aug 20, 2007 Yellow with a small white head. Light hoppy aroma with plenty of alcohol showing. Sweet flavour with some pepper and again lots of alcohol.

Jul 22, 2007 Bottle, 12%. Fruity aroma, only slightly peppery. Seemingly clear golden colour. Small white head. The flavour is quite fruity and finishes very alcoholic. Also quite sweet. Like a mixture of barley wine and European strong lager. Quite alcoholic, should probably be drunk quite cold.
