33cl bottle. Sweet malts, honey and flowery hops with caramel. Maybe some raisins too. Frothy white head with decent lacing. Clear body. Taste is salty and yeasty with some nuttiness and metal in the finish. Dry and fizzy. Overall nothing to really write home about. Rerate thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a clear gold with a white head that leaves great lacing (AP:4/5). Aroma is diaceeytl, caramel, toasted bread and a bit husky towards the finish (AR:6/10). Taste is husky and vegital with DMS and diacetyl. Very off flavored, unbalanced and crude with light caramel. (F:3/10). Fizzy but smooth from the DMS (P:3/5). (O:12/20)::2.8

Bottle. Light yellow with large white head.Fresh, nice aroma but too thin. Maybe some citrus, yeast? Nice beer in the summer but too thin for me.

Wow. My perception of French beers as largely mediocre was hardly raised by this product. Not much here, and with a style as wide as Biere de Garde I expected some element that was extreme or at least interesting, and I didn’t really get it from this beer. Appearance was good-enough, with a golden color and a whisp of white head. Aroma was lightly citrus-y and grainy but didn’t have much to it. Flavor was similarly non-descript and even more absent than the aroma. Mouthfeel was unremarkable. Not a lot here, good or bad. I can’t say I’d go out of my way to get this beer, nor will I recommend it.

Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Fresh, but a bit thin, on the nose. Some citrus fruits and yeast. Flavour is sweet and fruity with citrus, some yeast, herbs and some hints of alcohol. I liked the finish - some nice fruitiness and some bitterness.

La Goudale 7,2% alc.biére de garde.A Francia Brasseurs De Gayant gyár főzete.

Golden, very little head and a yeasty aroma with some sugary notes. Well masked, in a sense, as it isn’t very flavourful. Little happening. It’s simple, sweet and nothing special.

75cl bottle: Pours a rich gold with a decent, but fading, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, sugar, some hop, and toast. Flavors of malt, bubblegum, earthy hop and cotton candy. A smooth graininess and alcohol come in the middle followed by toasted marshmallow. The finish is of hops and some light fruits.
