Biere de grade seems to resemble a triple in many ways: nice mouthfeel: better than Ch ti lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 6, 2006 Bottle. Golden straw colour. Thin aroma and taste. Seemed like a gueuze-funky lager or thin ale.. This is my first biere de garde and I really hope this style will pick up from here because this was not really too interesting. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 2, 2006 Beer poured with a golden color and nice white head. The smell was surprisingly alcoholic and awkwardly overpowering. The flavor was somewhat flat and unimpressive and left me an ever so slightly tinney aftertaste. A truly typical French beer that leaves me saying "what’s the point". Extra kudos for the sweet, majestic bottle. PetetheMeat (549), Hove, Denmark
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Golden. White head. Floral fresh aroma followed my malty sweet aroma and typical french perfumy dishwater finish. Dredd (492), Ormond, Australia
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 11, 2006 Great beer. Lovely appearence and lots of estery flavours with a nice bitter finish. Alcohol in this is well balanced in this one and has a nice cleanliness to it which makes this a very pleasent beer indeed. strings (361), Sydney, Australia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 8, 2006 Bottle in Avignon. Good for drinking in a park, with a spread of cheese and crackers (until the ranger comes along and scolds you in French for a bit). Nice and smooth with a good bit of fruitiness. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Golden with a good white head like a freshly poured pils. Flavour wise it has that yeast start and orange flavours like most balgium beers have. A little alcoholic touch in the end.
