| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Found this beer on clearance for a few bucks at a local grocery store. Pours a clear golden color with a thick white head that leaves a great lacing. Aroma has a noble hops (Saaz) note to it, lots of pilsner malt notes and light yeasty tones come out as well. Flavor starts off with a light grassy and floral flavor, moving into a light spicy Saaz flavor moves into a pretty prevalent pale malt note with some light Vienna characteristics and ends with a slightly sour fruity note. Carbonation is pretty high and density has a medium mouth feel. Overall a pretty example for the style but there was a slight skunky note to it but otherwise was pretty good. topherh (915), Kearney, Missouri, USA
