Very, uh, cidery aroma ... apples with a faint whiff of alcohol. Taste is pleasant and dark. Enjoyable. robpet (98), Stone Mountain, Georgia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 8, 2005 Pours like fizzy apple juice with no head. Color of apple juice as well. Aroma is, not surprising, of fermenting apples. A nice dry palate and a refreshing lingering finish. This is only the second hard cider I have tried, but I don’t see it as outstanding in comparison. I would have it again SDalkoholic (1198), Chula Vista, California, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Apr 8, 2005 Golden in color with no head. Minimal amount of carbonation in the glass but slightly fizzy in the drink. For some reason the flavor reminds me of ed’s crazy chili beer but instead of jalapeno its apple. Not better than the other ciders I’ve had. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2005 My second forray into the world of hard apple cider. I’m liking it. Cider is defintely a different taste experience from beer altogether. This one poured nice golden color without a head (would a cider have a head normally anyway?) Light bubbles. It was light, sweet, with a bit of a dry alcoholic kick at the end. Reminds me of a Reisling wine more than any beer I’ve ever had. None of the darker malts or hopsy bitterness of beer here. Just a little bit of a fruity tartness from the apples. Also, this is about the highest ABV % I’ve seen in any non-wine/ non-liquor beverage in the Bible Belt. I wonder if that’s why it’s not a full 12oz bottle. Hmm.... awaller05 (301), Sharon, Wisconsin, USA

I don’t know much about ciders, but this one tastes pretty good. And with a 6.9% abv, what’s not to like?

Clear, light yellow cider with no head. Smells a bit like champagne. Moderately sweet, mildly pungent and lightly dry. Overripe apples. Medium-bodied and fizzy. Lengthy, sweet-tart finish. It’s cider. Not really my thing, but pretty tasty.
