Commercial Description:
K, the cider in that distinctive black bottle, is smooth, light clean - with just the right edge - that keeps ’em comin’ back. Hey these days we’re all looking for something different. Hand crafted in England with the light and refreshing taste of Somerset apples.

9.3 oz bottle - This cider has a light, sweet apple aroma. The body is light to medium and the flavor is moderately sweet but manages to avoid the almost overpowering sweetness of a Woodchuck (the easiest hard cider to find around here). It is of course all about the apples and as another rater said, it’s no Dupont cider. But it is decent.

Pours like apple juice (duh), but with a small, quickly-disappearing head. Big sour apple aroma with a touch of musty skins. Flavor starts simple, uneventful: semi-dry apple juice. The finish is filled with that mustiness, which is balanced by oxymoronic fresh, tart green apple notes. The simple apple juice comes back in the aftertaste. Decent, clean, non-candyish cider.

Brilliant, clear gold with a small layer of white foam. Sweet and sour green apple candy and a light dose of musty apple skin. Dry finish. Light body is the consistency of thin, sparkling apple juice. Not bad at all.

275 ml. Clear and pale gold with a head that fizzes off faster than I type this. Aroma is apples, possibly some woody and earthy tones as well. Flavor is similar. Crisp and clean, with no notice of the 6.9% or any strange twangs you typically get with ciders. It’s like drinking apple juice, but not so sweet and sticky. Pretty refreshing. Light body and slightly dry palate. Beats hell out of most of the Fruit Beers out there.

[Bottle, thanks Philsner] Aroma is apples, but it is weak and average at best. Taste is pretty plain too, very similar to just drinking carbonated apple juice. Thin body, fairly short finish. Certainly drinkable, but not a real good cider.

(bottle, thanks Philsner) pours light golden. Aroma is mainly apple juice with a little tartness to it along with slight spice. Taste is apple, slightly tart but quite watered down compared to higher quality ciders, but still not too bad.

Robe blonde dorée légèrement pétillante sans mousse. Arômes de chair de pommes. Saveurs de chair et de pelures de pommes.

22 oz. Bottle - Pours a golden, yellowish color with little fizzy head. Bubbles travel up the glass much like wine. Aroma is sweet, appley, slightly acidic, crisp, and smells lightly of alcohol (smells much like wine). Tastes like apples (obviously), dry, crisp, tart with a very slight alcoholic bite. All around a pretty good cider, not too sweet - but not too bitter, especially tasty for 6.9% ABV.
