Commercial Description:
K, the cider in that distinctive black bottle, is smooth, light clean - with just the right edge - that keeps ’em comin’ back. Hey these days we’re all looking for something different. Hand crafted in England with the light and refreshing taste of Somerset apples.

Pretty good for a cider. Very much like sparkling white wine or sparkling apple juice. No head at all. Sweet, but not too sweet. The alcohol is not noticeable. It would be hard to drink more than one though, the flavor gets boring quickly.

one of the better ciders I’ve had, Its sweet, but has a bit of a dry flavor, like Champagne, maybe it was the alcohol in it, but much more of a dry taste than many ciders. Decent.

Bottled. Poured no head. Smelled like apple juice, tasted like apple juice, I feel like this could get dangerous at 7% abv and looking and feeling like apple juice. I could drink this while i eat cereal and watch saturday morning cartoons.

Pretty cool opaque black bottle, 9.3 oz. Pour is like Mott’s apple juice, same color. It does have some carbonation in there that is visible. The aroma is of apple juice, perhaps a little more sour. There are a lot more ingredients in there than apples, says so right on the label. A little coarse taste for apple cider, it is almost like the alcohol was added after it was brewed. The feel is a little flat, not much tingle on this brew. Finish is alky for a cider, it really makes it’s presence felt. It is somewhat in the same vein as a premixed whiskey drink or wine cooler. Overall, Cider Jack and Woodchuck is a better tasting brew. However, this stuff is better than that Hornsby stuff. I was a little disappointed with this, I guess my anticipation and expectations were too high for something that was from England and states ’The Ultimate in Quality’ - not impressed.

In the U.S. Its very hard, perhaps impossible to find a decent cider!. A freind from the U.K. Brought back a 4 pack of scrumpy jack for me, and from the first crack of the can and a nice big sniff and a sip. Wow! Great stuff, great stuff that is impossible to get in the states. I stumbled upon a six pack of K cider at the local wine and spirits and decided to give it a go, Boy was I dissapointed!. I let the cider chill for hours, took a bottle poured it, and took in the aroma...wait what aroma? it smells like a cheap sparkling wine? I was hoping i would get a nice full strong aroma of fresh tart apples? Not with this K cider.... Tastes like Cheap sparkling wine, throw in some sugar and top it off with apple cider vineger.. There you go, K cider.. Please God someone import Some Scrumpy Jack into the states, or atleast somthing as good.

Flat golden with small lingering bubbles, but no head. Dry champagney aroma, and not much else. Taste is also champagney, and fairly sweet. $2/9.3oz

Pours crystal clear gold with sparse bubble rising through the liquid. No head. Smells quite alcoholly and fruity. Taste is equal parts fruity and dry. Substantial and fine carbonation. Mouth is a bit cloying. Drinkable and unoffending, even a nice driness. OK.

Had this several times from the bottle I can’t speak for the appearance, but the aroma is apples and cheap champagne. Taste is sweet apples, champagne, light tarts. Overall it’s a cider that I’ll actually drink! You don’t find that too often.
