Jul 15, 2005 Site just made me join to post a comment and then told me, after filling in 3 forms, that my membership expires today. how irritating, i wont be upgrading. and i wont be posting the comment i was going to make, except to say, i like olde english better than the other supermarket ciders.

Apr 25, 2005 Tasted from the 500mL can and poured (not that it makes any difference) into a tall tulip glass. An unusual fluorescent yellow body, crystal clear, almost like unripened apples. Large obscure carbonation and no head or lace. Acrid, skunky and metallic nose, with only a hint of Cider apples. Awful nose, luckily, doesn’t follow into the mouth. Watery thin (very low gravity) and plagued by a carbonic acid bite. Flavours of lemons, green apples and acetic acid. Riesling white wine mouth feel and a dry sweet and sour swallow. On the positive side it did go down like white wine, so if drunk in bulk ensures a good hangover the following morning!!!.

Jan 4, 2005 ligth color, no head. Apple aroma. Taste also apple butt it´s very weak in the finish. Not the best cider....

Dec 31, 2004 500 ml can. Bought by mistake when I was in a hurry just before closing time - thought it was an unrated beer! Fizzy sourish stuff. Watery mouthfeel. Gave me a heartburn - and I didn’t even finish the can! Industrial ciders like this one seem utterly pointless to me. Avoid!

Dec 21, 2004 Golden and artificial looking. Aromas are sour apples with chemicals. Flavours are bitter apples with lots of dryness to follow. Tastes like it was made in a big factory. This cider is just a cheap alcohol carrier. The next beer festival I go to I’m going to rate some real cider.

Nov 29, 2004 Dirt cheap cider in a large plastic bottle is always a good sign of quality unfortunately this one did not have ’white’ anywhere in the title. Pretty cruddy mass produced cider, artificially overcarbonated with some artificial apple aroma and pretty sweet. Drinks like carbonated water with a touch of apple flavouring, sugar and industrial alcohol. Yummy. Although it is far from being the worst cider I’ve ever tried.
