Kalli (408), Falun, Sweden Jul 1, 2008 Sweet dried fruit on the aroma. Not bad on that front but then you taste it... weak and sickly sweet perfumy flavour. Wait... I think it tastes a bit like a cherry popsicle. I think I’ll give it a bonus on originality for that but otherwise it’s very meh. Muggus69 (218), Sydney, Australia Apr 20, 2008 568ml bottle, served chilled. Clean effervescent yellowish body, large beading. Chalky apple aroma, some breadiness, not particularly pungent. Thin body, spritzy carbonation, verging on the sweet side, not particularly tart. Sweetened apple juice flavour, a touch carboardy/yeasty, abrupt finish. Something seems amiss with this one. jkm (153), Australia Feb 18, 2008 Clear green/yellow colour with a slightly apple aroma and flavour. Thin bodied and fizzy. Sweet with a dry finish.
- 330ml green bottle Thylacine (179), Tasmania, Australia Feb 18, 2008 A nice yellow gold colour. Sweet and appley. Not all that interesting but pleasant enough and more natural tasting than some of the mass market ciders. MBison (376), Southern Highlands, Australia Feb 1, 2008 Bottle (330ml). Poured a pale golden colour with virtually no head. Aroma was of skunky off red apples, wet paper and believe it or not moist dough. Flavor was reminded my of apple juice long passed its best before date; with skunky apples (green and red), with lots of sugar, straw and some sulfur notes. Light bodied with fizzy carbonation a watery texture, sweet mouthfeel and short finish. This was truly awful.
