Gaymers Original Cider

Appearance: golden clear look of this cider. Little fizz on top.
Nose: sour tartness, wild apple nose.5+
Flavor/Palate : light bodied with semi dry character. Light apple feel , bit oily finish with mild sweets. Light tartness on wall. Fair.

Can: Poured a very light yellow bubbly cider. Aroma of lightly dry cider with some unrefined sugar. Taste is dominated by weak apple with notes of unrefined sugar. This is closer to some piss weak fake apple juice then any cider I have ever tasted.

I tried this cider on July 17, 2009 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The cider pours a very pale translucent gold with absolutely no hill. The aroma is tart apples - and not much else. The mouthfeel is very thin and watery. The flavour is missing - there is a hint of tart old apples in a mouthful of water - but just a hint.

Dingwalls was actually the catering venue for volunteers and workers during the event to come and get fed and watered. Somehow Kenny and I utilised the force and walked straight in and helped ourselves to free food and booze. Bloody good job this was free. It’s a crap, cheap commercial cider. Very fruity and synthetic. But free all the same.

A golden cider with carbonatation. Aroma is rather light, chemical apple juice, boring. In mouth, sparkling apple juice. with a bit of tang, light to medium bodied. 500 mL can from LCBO.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is artificial apples, sweet apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, and a dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20090411]

Light yellow colour, little lacing around the edges of the glass. uninteresting apple beverage. Cheap.I don’t know what more to say really. I just don’t know There was a distinct artificialness to it. Very light and unoffensive. ﺲﻁﺯﺽﺻﻖﻙ

Can from the LCBO. Pale, lifeless looking beverage with a faint aroma of artificial apple. Flavour is reminiscent more of a cheap sparkling wine than a cider, with a weak hint of that same artificial apple in the background. Light, thin, bland - meh.
