12oz bottle. Deep brown-amber color. Toffee aroma. I found this to be quite a nice full-bodied Brown ale. Rich and malty on one hand, but the solid hop backbone really balances it into something solid. My bottle is a little past it’s prime, but the beer manages to hold up quite well. Has some good nutty character as well. Good beer.

Butterscotch and grain aroma. Tea colored, no head. Tastes of cheese and medium roasted malt. Bark finish. Off flavors. Pretty poorly made.

Pretty good. Brown colored, medium bodied with a small head. Not a strong aroma but a nice amount of spices, malt and a sweet note in the flavor. A solid beer for the Fall season.

I am quite impressed with this beer, it has a fruit and mildy tart taste with malts that are slightly toasty. hops are present but takes a back seat. this a good beer to come home too after work.

The aroma is somewhat chocolaty with toasted malt and grain husks. The appearance is light brown with a medium head. The flavor is like the aroma and the finish sweet. The palate is average. Overall this is average.

An intriguing aroma of stale smoked malt with stinging hops, roasted nuts, and honey. Dark amber pour with a lasting creamy head and mild lacing. Medium bodied ale with a lingering bitterness. Flavors of burnt toast and nuts. Mild chocolate malt and bittering noble hops. Some off flavors of spruce and molasses. The English influence is recognized, this is an odd brown ale that was well received. Borders on an Old Ale and/or English Pale Ale, quite drinkable and an interesting brew for sure.

12 oz bottle. Poured a dark brown with slight ornage hue around the edges and a small frothy light tan head. Malty aroma of chocolate, and nuts that had a perfumy and floral qualiti as well. Medium mouth feel with a creamy palate and light carbonation. Flavor is light bittersweet bakers chocolate with some hints of nut and spice, ciannamon mostly. Overall a nice beer that is not to spiced but rather a solid brown ale.

Bottle; poured a brownish auburn. Light brown head. Aroma of nuts, chocolate and yeast. Surprisingly dood. Palate was a little off putting. Flavor had a pronounced nut flavor, with undertones of chocolate, caramel and vanilla. Hop presence was unsurprisingly subdued. Overall it was easy drinking and had quality flavor.
