Commercial Description:
Hampshire has a huge toasted malt flavor balanced by assertive hoppiness. The finish is long and lingering with the malt and hop notes blending with alcohol warmth. Two row English malts (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt. Hood and East Kent Golding hops.

Bottle. Amber colour with a little head. Nice sweet malty aroma with some notes of maltness. Also flavour of of malt, fruitness and hops, very tasty that ends up bitter and dry.

Bottle. The aroma is sweet fruit with a slightly chalky candy aspect to it. The flavor is pretty good; sweet malt and some dark fruit. It got worse as I drank it though.

Bottle; is grapefruit, oak, caramel, sweet, miscellaneous fruit. Medium bodied. Didn’t find too much of a hop presence. Malty, fruity and sweet. Seems to hit the style very well; better than anything else I’ve had from this Gearys brewing.

Dark amber, fairly large head with decent lacing and retention. Aroma is Goldings, wood, grapefruit, caramel, floral, hint of chocolate. Medium bodied with a fair amount of bitterness. A cool take on the style, but the Goldings seemed to dominate everything.

12oz bottle. Pours a medium straw colour, with significant carbonation but not much head. Aroma is all malt and of a decent strength. The first taste is a bit too sparkly due to the carbonation, after which the malt flavours shine through. Some hops linger in the aftertaste. Some alcohol is noted in the nice lingering taste. A bit too sparkly for my preference, but this is rather well balanced and enjoyable.

12 oz bottle...copper...mild foam...I think im smelling hops...very hidden though...smells fresh and a tad fruity...seems like its overdone...the beer is just trying too hard to be something its not...in other words, off-balance
