Commercial Description:
Hampshire has a huge toasted malt flavor balanced by assertive hoppiness. The finish is long and lingering with the malt and hop notes blending with alcohol warmth. Two row English malts (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt. Hood and East Kent Golding hops.

12 oz. bottle shared by GiBrew. Golden orange colour with a frothy off-white head. Caramel, toffee, citrus, fruity aroma. Butterscotch, toffee, orange, fruity malts. Tasty stuff. Smooth, medium to full bodied.

Bottle. Nice amber body, small white head. Muted aroma, some hops. Pleasant mildly citrusy hops throughout and mild malt presence. Alcohol is remarkably restrained. Average palate. Pleasant.

(bottle - 12 oz) Clear copper color with a nice and soapy looking off-white head. Aroma is full of malts and alcohol with a hint of raisins. Flavor is very malty as well. Sweetness at the beginning with a nice alcohol kick and a slightly bitter and malty finish. Medium bodied and pretty tasty.

12oz bottle pours amber with a light offwhite head that stays some and laced pretty well. Aroma is nice carmel malts and light floral and grapefruit hops. Palae is light and without much carbonation. Drinkable but not recommended

Bottle, pours a clear amber color with minimal white head. A layer of must clouds an earthty caramel malt aroma, with hints of pineneedles and wintergreen. Has a firm malty body, with sharp tinges of black pepper balanced by a sweet cookie malt. A delicious beer that, even after several glasses, fails to induce boredom. Recommended for those winter nights just warm enough for outdoor festivities.

Perhaps I didn’t realize the actual amount of alcohol in this beer when I drank two in a row fairly quickly before I ate dinner. That was interesting. The label gives nothing away for this one, I didn’t even know the style. However, it does pour up a rich brown, lots of malts, quite tasty, in fact. Good stuff, this one.
