Commercial Description:
Hampshire has a huge toasted malt flavor balanced by assertive hoppiness. The finish is long and lingering with the malt and hop notes blending with alcohol warmth. Two row English malts (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt. Hood and East Kent Golding hops.

a rich, fruity aroma, searching for raisins, underlying fruity taste, nice warm alcohol mix, not my favorite style, but i enjoyed this one

I am rating the 2007 batch from the bottle. Pours a medium amber with a light head. The aroma is malty with a hint of fruit in the background. The beer is a bit malty with citrus and fresh cut grass. It has a clean finish. This is a good winter offering. It has a lot of body, but the taste isn’t over powering.

2007 from the bottle. Darker this year than last year, I think. Sweet, malty aroma; thick & sweet with a bitter at the end of it. Very well rounded, but I swear that last year’s brew was a bit better at being even. Very drinkable, & highly recommended.

12oz bottle-pours a dissipating white head and amber color. Aroma is medium malt-caramel. Taste is medium malt-caramel/some chocolate, secondary bitter/earthy hops, yeast. Nice. Good/OK carbonation. Best of Shipyard related beer I can remember.

On draft at Cambridge Common. Aroma was a tad light, but overall a fairly balanced beer. Good body and mouthfeel. A nice beer. Not something that I’d drive 50 miles to have again.

12oz bottle from Dorwart. Toasted bread aroma along with some sweet citrus. Darker orange body with decent head. Sugar sweet sticky citrus flavor with some toast in the background. Sweetness lingers on the palate. Good brew.

12oz. bottle I happened to find in the singles section at the local packy. Pours a pretty, dark amber with a thin white head that leaves quickly. Strong aromas of apples, fresh fruit and some hops. Flavors of sweet apple, hops with hints of peach. Has a crisp, clear mouthfeel and goes down exceptionally smooth. Hope to find a few six-packs in the future.

Tasty beer with an evident hop character in the flavor and an aroma reminiscent of sweet fruit. A little thin but nice all around.
