Commercial Description:
Our flagship pale is a classic British pale ale with a nod to the legendary beers of Burton-on-Trent. Copper-colored, dry, clean and crisp with lots of late hope taste in an appetizing complex with ale fruitiness from imported Hampshire yeast.
Ingredients: Two row English malt (pale, crystal and chocolate); Cascade, Mt Hood, Tettnang and Fuggle Hops.

bottle.. light amber pour.. small head disapates quickly. no lacing. malty and light floral hop aromas . caramel malt sweetness goes to moderate bittering. crisp and clean easy drinking , might be closer to an amber still not bad .

Somewhat malty but had a clean, crisp feel with nice appearance. Has a distinctive apple aftertaste as many pales do. I had heard this was good and I was not disappointed at all. Nice artwork as well on bottle.

Bottle. This beer smells pretty nice; mostly caramel malt and maybe a little floral hop. Caramel malt is also the predominant flavor, and the beer tastes more like an amber ale than a pale ale.

Bottle; amber in color. Aroma was of caramel malt and some citrus/floral hops. Flavor was heavy on the malt, with a hop peppering. Probably would be better with some food. Tasted alot like an amber ale to me. Not bad, but not very good.

Clear amber body with a medium frothy off-white head. Sweet floral hops aroma with some caramel in the background. Sweet malty aroma with some dull caramel and a bit of floral hops.

Had this last summer on tap while in Maine. One thing can be said of the beer in Maine is that is mostly lame but not this one. I liked this beer a nod to British pale ales and it is outstanding when eating lobster. Page 184 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and only 396 out of 500 Classic Brews to go

Light copper color, head dissipates quickly, spicy dusty hop taste that is only somewhat bitter.
